The Advisor
I was born in Hong Kong into a world of hospitality. My father reached the pinnacle of his profession — general manager of one of the most celebrated hotels on the planet. Before I had language to describe it, I was absorbing what it meant to be cared for at the highest level: to be made to feel that the entire world had arranged itself around your arrival.
I began traveling at seven months old. By the time I was an adult, I had visited over 35 countries across Asia, Africa, India, Brazil, Australia, and most of Western Europe. I have stayed in everything from backpacker hostels to $2,000-a-night tented camps deep in the African bush — not by accident, but by belief. The best travelers are curious, not just comfortable. Status is a shallow measure of a journey well lived.
I am a United Airlines 1 Million Miler. Not because I chased the status, but because I chased the world. Those 32 years of accumulated air miles gave me something no certification program can replicate: a deep, sensory understanding of what it actually feels like to arrive somewhere extraordinary.
After a successful career in another field, I returned to what I had always known: that travel, done thoughtfully, is one of the few experiences that permanently expands who you are. Beyond Senses Journeys exists because there is a gap in the market between transactional booking agents and the kind of intelligent, philosophical travel design that makes a journey truly unforgettable.
I live between Bali and Bangkok — not as a lifestyle statement, but as a competitive advantage. I know Asia from the inside. The best table in Chiang Mai. The private villa in Ubud that doesn't appear on any booking site. The moment the light hits Angkor Wat before the first tour group arrives. I know these things because I live them.
I am a FORA Certified Advisor, which gives my clients access to preferred rates, amenities, and supplier relationships that independent booking simply cannot provide. But the relationship is never transactional. Every journey I design begins with a single question:
